WEB 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ; NIV 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. WEB 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love; NIV 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. WEB 13 in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, -- in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, NIV 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, WEB 14 who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory. WEB 15 For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which you have toward all the saints, NIV 15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, WEB 16 don't cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, NIV 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. WEB 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; NIV 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. WEB 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, NIV 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, WEB 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might NIV 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, WEB 20 which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, NIV 20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, WEB 21 far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. NIV 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. WEB 22 He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the assembly, NIV 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, WEB 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
