Ephesians 5:20-30

RHE 20 Giving thanks always for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God and the Father: NIV 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. RHE 21 Being subject one to another, in the fear of Christ. NIV 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. RHE 22 Let women be subject to their husbands, as to the Lord: NIV 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. RHE 23 Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body. NIV 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. RHE 24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ: so also let the wives be to their husbands in all things. NIV 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. RHE 25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and delivered himself up for it: NIV 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her RHE 26 That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: NIV 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, RHE 27 That he might present it to himself, a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. NIV 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. RHE 28 So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. NIV 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. RHE 29 For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church: NIV 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-- RHE 30 Because we are members of him, body, of his flesh and of his bones. NIV 30 for we are members of his body.
