Galatians 6

NAS 1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. NIV 1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. NAS 2 Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. NIV 2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. NAS 3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. NIV 3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. NAS 4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. NIV 4 Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, NAS 5 For each one will bear his own load. NIV 5 for each one should carry his own load. NAS 6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. NIV 6 Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. NAS 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. NIV 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. NAS 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. NIV 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. NAS 9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. NIV 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. NAS 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. NIV 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. NAS 11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. NIV 11 See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand! NAS 12 Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. NIV 12 Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. NAS 13 For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. NIV 13 Not even those who are circumcised obey the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your flesh. NAS 14 But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. NIV 14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. NAS 15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. NIV 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. NAS 16 And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. NIV 16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God. NAS 17 From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus. NIV 17 Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. NAS 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen. NIV 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
