WEB 1 Now this is the history of the generations of the sons of Noah and of Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood. NIV 1 This is the account of Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah's sons, who themselves had sons after the flood. WEB 2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. WEB 21 To Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born. NIV 21 Sons were also born to Shem, whose older brother was Japheth; Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber. WEB 22 The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided. His brother's name was Joktan. NIV 25 Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan. WEB 26 Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, NIV 26 Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, WEB 27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, NIV 27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, WEB 28 Obal, Abimael, Sheba, NIV 28 Obal, Abimael, Sheba, WEB 29 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. Of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood. NIV 32 These are the clans of Noah's sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.
