John 3:14-21

CEB 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so must the Human One be lifted up NRS 14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, CEB 15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. NRS 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. CEB 16 God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won't perish but will have eternal life. NRS 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. CEB 17 God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him. NRS 17 "Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. CEB 18 Whoever believes in him isn't judged; whoever doesn't believe in him is already judged, because they don't believe in the name of God's only Son. NRS 18 Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. CEB 19 "This is the basis for judgment: The light came into the world, and people loved darkness more than the light, for their actions are evil. NRS 19 And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. CEB 20 All who do wicked things hate the light and don't come to the light for fear that their actions will be exposed to the light. NRS 20 For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed. CEB 21 Whoever does the truth comes to the light so that it can be seen that their actions were done in God." NRS 21 But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God."
