Leviticus 27:30-33

NAS 30 'Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S; it is holy to the LORD . NIV 30 " 'A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD. NAS 31 'If, therefore, a man wishes to redeem part of his tithe, he shall add to it one-fifth of it. NIV 31 If a man redeems any of his tithe, he must add a fifth of the value to it. NAS 32 'For every tenth part of herd or flock, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the LORD . NIV 32 The entire tithe of the herd and flock--every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd's rod--will be holy to the LORD. NAS 33 'He is not to be concerned whether it is good or bad, nor shall he exchange it; or if he does exchange it, then both it and its substitute shall become holy. It shall not be redeemed.' " NIV 33 He must not pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If he does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.' "
