RSV 16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?" NIV 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?" He said to them, RSV 24 "Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. NIV 24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. RSV 25 When once the householder has risen up and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, open to us.' He will answer you, 'I do not know where you come from.' NIV 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' RSV 26 Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.'
