NRS 22 Jesus went through one town and village after another, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. NIV 22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. NRS 23 Someone asked him, "Lord, will only a few be saved?" He said to them, NIV 23 Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, NRS 24 "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able. "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' NRS 26 Then you will begin to say, "We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' NRS 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrown out. NIV 28 "There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. NRS 29 Then people will come from east and west, from north and south, and will eat in the kingdom of God.
