Luke 17:1-6

HNV 1 He said to the talmidim, "It is impossible that occasions of stumbling should not come, but woe to him through whom they come! NIV 1 Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. HNV 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble. NIV 2 It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. HNV 3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. NIV 3 So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. HNV 4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times turns again, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him." NIV 4 If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him." HNV 5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." NIV 5 The apostles said to the LORD, "Increase our faith!" HNV 6 The Lord said, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you. NIV 6 He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.
