NAS 30 The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. NIV 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. NAS 31 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. NIV 31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. NIV 35 The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. NAS 36 "And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. NIV 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. NAS 37 "For nothing will be impossible with God." NIV 37 For nothing is impossible with God." NAS 38 And Mary said, "Behold, the bondslave of the Lord ; may it be done to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her. NIV 38 "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her. NAS 39 Now at this time Mary arose and went in a hurry to the hill country, to a city of Judah, NIV 39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, NAS 40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. NIV 40 where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth.
