Luke 23:1-6

ASV 1 And the whole company of them rose up, and brought him before Pilate. NIV 1 Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate. ASV 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ a king. NIV 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, "We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king." ASV 3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest. NIV 3 So Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?" "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. ASV 4 And Pilate said unto the chief priests and the multitudes, I find no fault in this man NIV 4 Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find no basis for a charge against this man." ASV 5 But they were the more urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Judaea, and beginning from Galilee even unto this place. NIV 5 But they insisted, "He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here." ASV 6 But when Pilate heard it, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean. NIV 6 On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean.
