NLT 28 When they heard this, the people in the synagogue were furious. NIV 28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. NLT 29 Jumping up, they mobbed him and took him to the edge of the hill on which the city was built. They intended to push him over the cliff, NIV 29 They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him down the cliff. NLT 30 but he slipped away through the crowd and left them. NIV 30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.
