Matthew 11:1-6

NAS 1 When Jesus had finished giving instructions to His twelve disciples, He departed from there to teach and preach in their cities. NIV 1 After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of Galilee. NAS 2 Now when John, while imprisoned, heard of the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples NIV 2 When John heard in prison what Christ was doing, he sent his disciples NAS 3 and said to Him, "Are You the Expected One, or shall we look for someone else?" NIV 3 to ask him, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?" NAS 4 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and report to John what you hear and see: NIV 4 Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see: NAS 5 the BLIND RECEIVE SIGHT and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the POOR HAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO THEM. NIV 5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. NAS 6 "And blessed is he who does not take offense at Me." NIV 6 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me."
