37 En het vermenigvuldigt zijn inkomste voor den koningen, die Gij over ons gesteld hebt, om onzer zonden wil; en zij heersen over onze lichamen en over onze beesten, naar hun welgevallen; alzo zijn wij in grote benauwdheid.
37 Because of our sins, its abundant harvest goes to the kings you have placed over us. They rule over our bodies and our cattle as they please. We are in great distress.
