WBT 5 And the fourth [part] of a hin of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt-offering or sacrifice, for one lamb. NIV 5 With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering. WBT 6 Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare [for] a meat-offering two tenth parts of flour mingled with the third [part] of a hin of oil. NIV 6 " 'With a ram prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil, WBT 7 And for a drink-offering thou shalt offer the third [part] of a hin of wine, [for] a sweet savor to the LORD. NIV 9 bring with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. WBT 10 And thou shalt bring for a drink-offering half a hin of wine, [for] an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD: NIV 10 Also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. It will be an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. WBT 11 Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid. NIV 11 Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. WBT 12 According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number. NIV 12 Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare. WBT 13 All that are born in the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD. NIV 13 " 'Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when he brings an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. WBT 14 And if a stranger shall sojourn with you, or whoever shall [be] among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do. NIV 14 For the generations to come, whenever an alien or anyone else living among you presents an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, he must do exactly as you do. WBT 15 One ordinance [shall be both] for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth [with you], an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye [are], so shall the stranger be before the LORD. NIV 15 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the LORD: WBT 16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you. NIV 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you.' " WBT 17 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, NIV 17 The LORD said to Moses, WBT 18 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, NIV 18 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land to which I am taking you WBT 19 Then it shall be, that when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up a heave-offering to the LORD. NIV 19 and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the LORD. WBT 20 Ye shall offer a cake of the first of your dough [for] a heave-offering: as [ye do] the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye heave it. NIV 20 Present a cake from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor. WBT 21 Of the first of your dough ye shall give to the LORD a heave-offering in your generations. NIV 21 Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the LORD from the first of your ground meal. WBT 22 And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments which the LORD hath spoken to Moses, NIV 22 " 'Now if you unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the LORD gave Moses-- WBT 23 [Even] all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded [Moses], and henceforward among your generations; NIV 23 any of the LORD's commands to you through him, from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come-- WBT 24 Then it shall be, if [aught] shall be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savor to the LORD, with his meat-offering, and his drink-offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering. NIV 24 and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering. WBT 25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it [is] ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD, and their sin-offering before the LORD, for their ignorance: NIV 25 The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have brought to the LORD for their wrong an offering made by fire and a sin offering. WBT 26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people [were] in ignorance. NIV 26 The whole Israelite community and the aliens living among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong. WBT 27 And if any soul shall sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering. NIV 27 " 'But if just one person sins unintentionally, he must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering. WBT 28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. NIV 28 The priest is to make atonement before the LORD for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven. WBT 29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, [both for] him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them. NIV 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether he is a native-born Israelite or an alien. WBT 30 But the soul that doeth [aught] presumptuously, [whether he be] born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. NIV 30 " 'But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or alien, blasphemes the LORD, and that person must be cut off from his people. WBT 31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity [shall be] upon him. NIV 31 Because he has despised the LORD's word and broken his commands, that person must surely be cut off; his guilt remains on him.' " WBT 32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath-day. NIV 32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. WBT 33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. NIV 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, WBT 34 And they put him in custody, because it was not declared what should be done to him. NIV 34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. WBT 35 And the LORD said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. NIV 35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp." WBT 36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. NIV 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses. WBT 37 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, NIV 37 The LORD said to Moses, WBT 38 Speak to the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes on the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribin of blue: NIV 38 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. WBT 39 And it shall be to you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go astray: NIV 39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by going after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. WBT 40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. NIV 40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God. WBT 41 I [am] the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I [am] the LORD your God. NIV 41 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God.' "
