Philippians 2:5-11

NLT 5 Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had. NIV 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: NLT 6 Though he was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights as God. NIV 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, NLT 7 He made himself nothing; he took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form. NIV 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. NLT 8 And in human form he obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal's death on a cross. NIV 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! NLT 9 Because of this, God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name that is above every other name, NIV 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, NLT 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, NIV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, NLT 11 and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. NIV 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
