Proverbs 14:15-25

RSV 15 The simple believes everything, but the prudent looks where he is going. NIV 15 A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps. RSV 16 A wise man is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool throws off restraint and is careless. NIV 16 A wise man fears the LORD and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless. RSV 17 A man of quick temper acts foolishly, but a man of discretion is patient. NIV 17 A quick-tempered man does foolish things, and a crafty man is hated.
