Proverbs 3

NIRV 1 My son, do not forget my teaching. Keep my commands in your heart. NIV 1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, NIRV 2 They will help you live for many years. I'll give it to you tomorrow." NIV 28 Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"-- when you now have it with you. NIRV 29 Don't plan to harm your neighbor. He lives near you and trusts you. NIV 29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. NIRV 30 Don't bring charges against a man without any reason. He has not harmed you. NIV 30 Do not accuse a man for no reason-- when he has done you no harm. NIRV 31 Don't be jealous of a man who hurts others. Don't choose any of his ways. NIV 31 Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, NIRV 32 The LORD really hates sinful people. But he makes honest people his closest friends. NIV 32 for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence. NIRV 33 The LORD puts a curse on the houses of sinners. But he blesses the homes of those who do what is right. NIV 33 The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. NIRV 34 He laughs at proud people who make fun of others. But he gives grace to those who are not proud. NIV 34 He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble. NIRV 35 Wise people receive honor. But the LORD puts foolish people to shame. NIV 35 The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame.
