Proverbs 8:1-6

CSB 1 Doesn't Wisdom call out? Doesn't Understanding make her voice heard? NIV 1 Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? CSB 2 At the heights overlooking the road, at the crossroads, she takes her stand. NIV 2 On the heights along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; CSB 3 Beside the gates at the entry to the city, at the main entrance, she cries out: NIV 3 beside the gates leading into the city, at the entrances, she cries aloud: CSB 4 "People, I call out to you; my cry is to mankind. NIV 4 "To you, O men, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. CSB 5 Learn to be shrewd, you who are inexperienced; develop common sense, you who are foolish. NIV 5 You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, gain understanding. CSB 6 Listen, for I speak of noble things, and what my lips say is right. NIV 6 Listen, for I have worthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right.
