Psalm 101

BBE 1 <A Psalm. Of David.> I will make a song of mercy and righteousness; to you, O Lord, will I make melody. NIV 1 I will sing of your love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will sing praise. BBE 2 I will do wisely in the way of righteousness: O when will you come to me? I will be walking in my house with a true heart. NIV 2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life-- when will you come to me? I will walk in my house with blameless heart. BBE 3 I will not put any evil thing before my eyes; I am against all turning to one side; I will not have it near me. NIV 3 I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me. BBE 4 The false heart I will send away from me: I will not have an evil-doer for a friend. NIV 4 Men of perverse heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil. BBE 5 I will put to death anyone who says evil of his neighbour secretly; the man with a high look and a heart of pride is disgusting to me. NIV 5 Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, him will I not endure. BBE 6 My eyes will be on those of good faith in the land, so that they may be living in my house; he who is walking in the right way will be my servant. NIV 6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he whose walk is blameless will minister to me. BBE 7 The worker of deceit will not come into my house; the false man will have no place before my eyes. NIV 7 No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence. BBE 8 Morning by morning will I put to death all the sinners in the land, so that all evil-doers may be cut off from Jerusalem. NIV 8 Every morning I will put to silence all the wicked in the land; I will cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
