Psalm 103

TMB 1 <<A Psalm of David.>> Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! NIV 1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. TMB 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits- - NIV 2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-- TMB 3 who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases, NIV 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, TMB 4 who redeemeth thy life from destruction, who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies, NIV 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, TMB 5 who satisfieth thy mouth with good things, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. NIV 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. TMB 6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. NIV 6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. TMB 7 He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel. NIV 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: TMB 8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. NIV 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. TMB 9 He will not always chide, neither will He keep His anger for ever. NIV 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; TMB 10 He hath not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. NIV 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. TMB 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. NIV 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; TMB 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. NIV 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. TMB 13 As a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him. NIV 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; TMB 14 For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. NIV 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. TMB 15 As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. NIV 15 As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; TMB 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. NIV 16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. TMB 17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children, NIV 17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-- TMB 18 to such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them. NIV 18 with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. TMB 19 The LORD hath prepared His throne in the heavens, and His Kingdom ruleth over all. NIV 19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. TMB 20 Bless the LORD, ye His angels that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word. NIV 20 Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. TMB 21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye His hosts, ye ministers of His, that do His pleasure. NIV 21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. TMB 22 Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul! NIV 22 Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
