Psalm 108

WBT 1 A Song [or] Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. NIV 1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul. WBT 2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early. NIV 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. WBT 3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to thee among the nations. NIV 3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. WBT 4 For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] to the clouds. NIV 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. WBT 5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; NIV 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. WBT 6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me. NIV 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. WBT 7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth. NIV 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth. WBT 8 Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of my head; Judah [is] my lawgiver; NIV 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. WBT 9 Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. NIV 9 Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph." WBT 10 Who will bring me into the strong city: who will lead me into Edom? NIV 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? WBT 11 [Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies? NIV 11 Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? WBT 12 Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man. NIV 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. WBT 13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he will tread down our enemies. NIV 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
