Psalm 125

TMB 1 <<A song of degrees.>> They that trust in the LORD shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. NIV 1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. TMB 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth, even for ever. NIV 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore. TMB 3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the allotment of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands to do iniquity. NIV 3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil. TMB 4 Do good, O LORD, unto those that are good and to them that are upright in their hearts. NIV 4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart. TMB 5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity; but peace shall be upon Israel. NIV 5 But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.
