Psalm 13

RHE 1 (12-1) Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me? NIV 1 How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? RHE 2 (12-2) How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day? NIV 2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? RHE 3 (12-3) How long shall my enemy be exalted over Me? NIV 3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death; RHE 4 (12-4) Consider, and hear me, O Lord, my God. Enlighten my eyes, that I never sleep in death: NIV 4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall. RHE 5 (12-5) Lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me, will rejoice when I am moved: NIV 5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. RHE 6 (12-6) But I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea, I will sing to the name of the Lord, the most high. NIV 6 I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.
