CSB 1 Hallelujah! Praise the name of the Lord. Give praise, you servants of the Lord NIV 1 Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD; praise him, you servants of the LORD, CSB 2 who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God. NIV 2 you who minister in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. CSB 3 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to His name, for it is delightful. NIV 3 Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant. CSB 4 For the Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel as His treasured possession. NIV 4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession. CSB 5 For I know that the Lord is great; our Lord is greater than all gods. NIV 5 I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. CSB 6 The Lord does whatever He pleases in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all the depths. NIV 6 The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. CSB 7 He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain and brings the wind from His storehouses. NIV 7 He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses. CSB 8 He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, both people and animals. NIV 8 He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, the firstborn of men and animals. CSB 9 He sent signs and wonders against you, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his officials. NIV 9 He sent his signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants. CSB 10 He struck down many nations and slaughtered mighty kings: NIV 10 He struck down many nations and killed mighty kings-- CSB 11 Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kings of Canaan. NIV 15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by the hands of men. CSB 16 They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. NIV 16 They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but they cannot see; CSB 17 They have ears, but cannot hear; indeed, there is no breath in their mouths. NIV 20 O house of Levi, praise the LORD; you who fear him, praise the LORD. CSB 21 May the Lord be praised from Zion; He dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah! NIV 21 Praise be to the LORD from Zion, to him who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.
