CSB 1 Hallelujah! Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the godly. NIV 1 Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints. CSB 2 Let Israel celebrate its Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. NIV 2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. CSB 3 Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and lyre. NIV 3 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp. CSB 4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the humble with salvation. NIV 4 For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation. CSB 5 Let the godly celebrate in triumphal glory; let them shout for joy on their beds. NIV 5 Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds. CSB 6 Let the exaltation of God be in their mouths and a two-edged sword in their hands, NIV 6 May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, CSB 7 inflicting vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, NIV 7 to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, CSB 8 binding their kings with chains and their dignitaries with iron shackles, NIV 8 to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, CSB 9 carrying out the judgment decreed against them. This honor is for all His godly people. Hallelujah! NIV 9 to carry out the sentence written against them. This is the glory of all his saints. Praise the LORD.
