NKJV 1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; NIV 1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. NKJV 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; NIV 2 May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. NKJV 3 May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah NIV 3 May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. "Selah" NKJV 4 May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose. NIV 4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. NKJV 5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. NIV 5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests. NKJV 6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
