Psalm 25

NCV 1 Lord, I give myself to you; NIV 1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; NCV 2 my God, I trust you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies laugh at me. NIV 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. NCV 3 No one who trusts you will be disgraced, but those who sin without excuse will be disgraced. NIV 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. NCV 4 Lord, tell me your ways. Show me how to live. NIV 4 Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; NCV 5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me, my God, my Savior. I trust you all day long. NIV 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. NCV 6 Lord, remember your mercy and love that you have shown since long ago. NIV 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. NCV 7 Do not remember the sins and wrong things I did when I was young. But remember to love me always because you are good, Lord. NIV 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. NCV 8 The Lord is good and right; he points sinners to the right way. NIV 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. NCV 9 He shows those who are humble how to do right, and he teaches them his ways. NIV 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. NCV 10 All the Lord's ways are loving and true for those who follow the demands of his agreement. NIV 10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. NCV 11 For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my many sins. NIV 11 For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. NCV 12 Are there those who respect the Lord? He will point them to the best way. NIV 12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. NCV 13 They will enjoy a good life, and their children will inherit the land. NIV 13 He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. NCV 14 The Lord tells his secrets to those who respect him; he tells them about his agreement. NIV 14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. NCV 15 My eyes are always looking to the Lord for help. He will keep me from any traps. NIV 15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. NCV 16 Turn to me and have mercy on me, because I am lonely and hurting. NIV 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. NCV 17 My troubles have grown larger; free me from my problems. NIV 17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. NCV 18 Look at my suffering and troubles, and take away all my sins. NIV 18 Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. NCV 19 Look at how many enemies I have! See how much they hate me! NIV 19 See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me! NCV 20 Protect me and save me. I trust you, so do not let me be disgraced. NIV 20 Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. NCV 21 My hope is in you, so may goodness and honesty guard me.
