Psalm 26

LEB 1 Judge me, O Yahweh, because I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted Yahweh and not wavered. NIV 1 Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. LEB 2 Prove me, O Yahweh, and test me. Try my {innermost being} and my {mind}. NIV 2 Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; LEB 3 Because your loyal love [is] before my eyes, and I walk about in your faithfulness. NIV 3 for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth. LEB 4 I do not sit with deceitful people, nor will I go about with hypocrites. NIV 4 I do not sit with deceitful men, nor do I consort with hypocrites; LEB 5 I hate [the] crowd of evildoers, and with [the] wicked I will not sit. NIV 5 I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked. LEB 6 I will wash my hands in innocence, and I will walk about your altar, O Yahweh, NIV 6 I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, O LORD, LEB 7 to declare with a voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all your wondrous deeds. NIV 7 proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. LEB 8 O Yahweh, I love [the] dwelling of your house, and {the place where your glory abides}. NIV 8 I love the house where you live, O LORD, the place where your glory dwells. LEB 9 Do not destroy me with [the] sinners, nor my life with men of bloodshed, NIV 9 Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with bloodthirsty men, LEB 10 in whose hands [is] an evil plan, and whose right hand is full of bribes. NIV 10 in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes. LEB 11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. Redeem me and be gracious to me. NIV 11 But I lead a blameless life; redeem me and be merciful to me. LEB 12 My foot stands on level ground. In assemblies I will bless Yahweh. NIV 12 My feet stand on level ground; in the great assembly I will praise the LORD.
