YLT 6 By the word of Jehovah The heavens have been made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host. NIV 7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. YLT 8 Afraid of Jehovah are all the earth, Of Him are all the inhabitants of the world afraid. NIV 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him. YLT 9 For He hath said, and it is, He hath commanded, and it standeth. NIV 9 For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. YLT 10 Jehovah made void the counsel of nations, He disallowed the thoughts of the peoples. NIV 15 he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. YLT 16 The king is not saved by the multitude of a force. A mighty man is not delivered, By abundance of power. NIV 16 No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. YLT 17 A false thing [is] the horse for safety, And by the abundance of his strength He doth not deliver. NIV 17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. YLT 18 Lo, the eye of Jehovah [is] to those fearing Him, To those waiting for His kindness, NIV 18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, YLT 19 To deliver from death their soul, And to keep them alive in famine.
