Psalm 47

NRS 1 Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with loud songs of joy. NIV 1 Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. NRS 2 For the Lord, the Most High, is awesome, a great king over all the earth. NIV 2 How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth! NRS 3 He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. NIV 3 He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. NRS 4 He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. NIV 8 God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. NRS 9 The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted. NIV 9 The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.
