Psalm 87

DBY 1 {Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. A Song.} His foundation is in the mountains of holiness. NIV 1 He has set his foundation on the holy mountain; DBY 2 Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion more than all the habitations of Jacob. NIV 2 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. DBY 3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. NIV 3 Glorious things are said of you, O city of God: "Selah" DBY 4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon among them that know me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: this [man] was born there. NIV 4 "I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me-- Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush-- and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.' " DBY 5 And of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; and the Most High himself shall establish her. NIV 5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." DBY 6 Jehovah will count, when he inscribeth the peoples, This [man] was born there. Selah. NIV 6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: "This one was born in Zion." "Selah" DBY 7 As well the singers as the dancers [shall say], All my springs are in thee. NIV 7 As they make music they will sing, "All my fountains are in you."
