LEB 3 When my enemies turn back, they will stumble and perish because of your presence. NIV 3 My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you. LEB 4 For you have maintained my just cause; you have sat on [the] throne judging correctly. NIV 4 For you have upheld my right and my cause; you have sat on your throne, judging righteously. LEB 5 You have rebuked [the] nations; you have destroyed [the] wicked. Their name you have blotted out forever and ever. NIV 5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name for ever and ever. LEB 6 The enemies are destroyed [in] ruins forever, and you have uprooted [their] cities; their very memory has perished. NIV 6 Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy, you have uprooted their cities; even the memory of them has perished. LEB 7 But Yahweh sits [enthroned] forever. He has established his throne for judgment. NIV 7 The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. LEB 8 And he will judge [the] world with righteousness. He will judge [the] peoples with equity. NIV 8 He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice. LEB 9 And Yahweh will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of distress. NIV 9 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. LEB 10 And those who know your name will trust in you, for you do not forsake those [who] seek you, O Yahweh. Tell his deeds among the peoples, NIV 11 Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done. LEB 12 for he [who] {avenges bloodshed} remembers them. He does not forget the distressed cry of [the] afflicted. NIV 12 For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. LEB 13 Be gracious to me, O Yahweh. See my suffering from [those who] hate me, [you who] lift me up from the gates of death, NIV 13 O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death, LEB 14 so that I may tell of all your praises. In the gates of the daughter of Zion let me rejoice in your salvation. NIV 14 that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion and there rejoice in your salvation. LEB 15 [The] nations have fallen in [the] pit [that] they made; their foot is caught in [the] net that they hid. NIV 15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden. LEB 16 Yahweh has made himself known; he has executed judgment.
