Psalm 92

CSB 1 It is good to praise the Lord, to sing praise to Your name, Most High, NIV 1 It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, CSB 2 to declare Your faithful love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night, NIV 2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, CSB 3 with a ten-stringed harp and the music of a lyre. NIV 3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. CSB 4 For You have made me rejoice, Lord, by what You have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of Your hands. NIV 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. CSB 5 How magnificent are Your works, Lord, how profound Your thoughts! NIV 5 How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! CSB 6 A stupid person does not know, a fool does not understand this: NIV 6 The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand, CSB 7 though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be eternally destroyed. NIV 7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed. CSB 8 But You, Lord, are exalted forever. NIV 8 But you, O LORD, are exalted forever. CSB 9 For indeed, Lord, Your enemies- indeed, Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. NIV 9 For surely your enemies, O LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. CSB 10 You have lifted up my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with oil. NIV 10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me. CSB 11 My eyes look down on my enemies; my ears hear evildoers when they attack me. NIV 11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes. CSB 12 The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon. NIV 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; CSB 13 Planted in the house of the Lord, they thrive in the courtyards of our God. NIV 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. CSB 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green, NIV 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, CSB 15 to declare: "The Lord is just; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him." NIV 15 proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."
