Revelation 19

NLT 1 After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, “Praise the LORD ! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. NIV 1 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, NLT 2 His judgments are true and just. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the murder of his servants.” NIV 2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants." NLT 3 And again their voices rang out: “Praise the LORD ! The smoke from that city ascends forever and ever!” NIV 3 And again they shouted: "Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever." NLT 4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshiped God, who was sitting on the throne. They cried out, “Amen! Praise the LORD !” NIV 4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: "Amen, Hallelujah!" NLT 5 And from the throne came a voice that said, “Praise our God, all his servants, all who fear him, from the least to the greatest.” NIV 5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying: "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!" NLT 6 Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder: “Praise the LORD ! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. NIV 6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: "Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. NLT 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. NIV 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. NLT 8 She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.” For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. NIV 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." NLT 9 And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he added, “These are true words that come from God.” NIV 9 Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' " And he added, "These are the true words of God." NLT 10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus. ” NIV 10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." NLT 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. NIV 11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. NLT 12 His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. NIV 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. NLT 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. NIV 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. NLT 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. NIV 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. NLT 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. NIV 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. NLT 16 On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords. NIV 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. NLT 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, shouting to the vultures flying high in the sky: “Come! Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared. NIV 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, NLT 18 Come and eat the flesh of kings, generals, and strong warriors; of horses and their riders; and of all humanity, both free and slave, small and great.” NIV 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great." NLT 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the world and their armies gathered together to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army. NIV 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. NLT 20 And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast—miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. NIV 20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. NLT 21 Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies. NIV 21 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
