Titus 2:1-7

NAS 1 But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine. NIV 1 You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. NAS 2 Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. NIV 2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. NAS 3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, NIV 3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. NAS 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, NIV 4 Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, NAS 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. NIV 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. NAS 6 Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; NIV 6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. NAS 7 in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, NIV 7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good.
