Zechariah 3

TMB 1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. NIV 1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. TMB 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, "The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD who hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee! Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?" NIV 2 The LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?" TMB 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. NIV 3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. TMB 4 And He answered and spoke unto those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And unto him He said, "Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment." NIV 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy clothes." Then he said to Joshua, "See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you." TMB 5 And I said, "Let them set a clean miter upon his head." So they set a clean miter upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. NIV 5 Then I said, "Put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood by. TMB 6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying, NIV 6 The angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua: TMB 7 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts: `If thou wilt walk in My ways, and if thou wilt keep My ordinance, then thou shalt also judge My house, and shalt also keep My courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these who stand by. NIV 7 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here. TMB 8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows who sit before thee; for they are men wondered at. For behold, I will bring forth My Servant the BRANCH. NIV 8 " 'Listen, O high priest Joshua and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. TMB 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua: upon one stone shall be seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave the engraving thereof,' saith the LORD of hosts, `and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. NIV 9 See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day. TMB 10 In that day,' saith the LORD of hosts, `shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.'" NIV 10 " 'In that day each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree,' declares the LORD Almighty."
