Zephaniah 3:9-13

NLT 9 "On that day I will purify the lips of all people, so that everyone will be able to worship the LORD together. NIV 9 "Then will I purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve him shoulder to shoulder. NLT 10 My scattered people who live beyond the rivers of Ethiopia will come to present their offerings. NIV 10 From beyond the rivers of Cush my worshipers, my scattered people, will bring me offerings. NLT 11 And then you will no longer need to be ashamed of yourselves, for you will no longer be rebels against me. I will remove all the proud and arrogant people from among you. There will be no pride on my holy mountain. NIV 11 On that day you will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to me, because I will remove from this city those who rejoice in their pride. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill. NLT 12 Those who are left will be the lowly and the humble, for it is they who trust in the name of the LORD. NIV 12 But I will leave within you the meek and humble, who trust in the name of the LORD. NLT 13 The people of Israel who survive will do no wrong to each other, never telling lies or deceiving one another. They will live peaceful lives, lying down to sleep in safety; there will be no one to make them afraid." NIV 13 The remnant of Israel will do no wrong; they will speak no lies, nor will deceit be found in their mouths. They will eat and lie down and no one will make them afraid."
