26 En cuanto a Elcana su hijo, los hijos de Elcana fueron Zofai su hijo, Nahat su hijo.

27 Eliab su hijo, Jeroham su hijo, Elcana su hijo.

28 Los hijos de Samuel fueron Joel el primogénito, y Abías el segundo.

29 Los hijos de Merari fueron Mahli, Libni su hijo, Simei su hijo, Uza su hijo,

30 Simea su hijo, Haguía su hijo, Asasías su hijo.

31 Y estos son los que David puso sobre el servicio del canto en la casa del SEÑOR, después que el arca descansó allí.

32 Ministraban con el canto delante del tabernáculo de la tienda de reunión, hasta que Salomón edificó la casa del SEÑOR en Jerusalén, y servían en su oficio conforme a su orden.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 6

This chapter begins with the fathers and heads of the tribe of Levi, 1Ch 6:1-3, and reckons up the high priests in the line of Eleazar, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 6:4-15 gives an account of the families of the sons of Levi, 1Ch 6:16-30 and of those Levites that were employed as singers, and in other ministrations in the sanctuary in the times of David and Solomon, 1Ch 6:31-49, then follows a repetition of the sons of Aaron in the line of Eleazar, to the said times, 1Ch 6:50-53, and a recital of the dwelling places of the Levites in the several tribes, 1Ch 6:54-81.
