1 Crónicas 6:39-49

39 Y su hermano Asaf, el cual estaba a su mano derecha: Asaf, hijo de Baasías, hijo de Simea;

40 hijo de Micael, hijo de Baasías, hijo de Malquías;

41 hijo de Etni, hijo de Zera, hijo de Adaía;

42 hijo de Etán, hijo de Zima, hijo de Simei;

43 hijo de Jahat, hijo de Gersón, hijo de Leví.

44 Mas los hijos de Merari sus hermanos estaban a la mano siniestra, es a saber , Etán hijo de Quisi, hijo de Abdi, hijo de Maluc;

45 hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Amasías, hijo de Hilcías;

46 hijo de Amsi, hijo de Bani, hijo de Semer;

47 hijo de Mahli, hijo de Musi, hijo de Merari, hijo de Leví.

48 Y sus hermanos los levitas fueron entregados a todo el ministerio del tabernáculo de la Casa de Dios.

49 Mas Aarón y sus hijos ofrecían incienso sobre el altar del holocausto, y sobre el altar del incienso, en toda la obra del lugar santísimo, y para hacer las expiaciones sobre Israel, conforme a todo lo que Moisés siervo de Dios había mandado.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 6

This chapter begins with the fathers and heads of the tribe of Levi, 1Ch 6:1-3, and reckons up the high priests in the line of Eleazar, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 6:4-15 gives an account of the families of the sons of Levi, 1Ch 6:16-30 and of those Levites that were employed as singers, and in other ministrations in the sanctuary in the times of David and Solomon, 1Ch 6:31-49, then follows a repetition of the sons of Aaron in the line of Eleazar, to the said times, 1Ch 6:50-53, and a recital of the dwelling places of the Levites in the several tribes, 1Ch 6:54-81.
