1 Crónicas 6:47-57

47 hijo de Mahli, hijo de Musi, hijo de Merari, hijo de Leví.

48 Y sus hermanos los levitas fueron entregados a todo el ministerio del tabernáculo de la Casa de Dios.

49 Mas Aarón y sus hijos ofrecían incienso sobre el altar del holocausto, y sobre el altar del incienso, en toda la obra del lugar santísimo, y para hacer las expiaciones sobre Israel, conforme a todo lo que Moisés siervo de Dios había mandado.

50 Y los hijos de Aarón son estos: Eleazar su hijo, Finees su hijo, Abisúa su hijo;

51 Buqui su hijo, Uzi su hijo, Zeraías su hijo;

52 Meraiot su hijo, Amarías su hijo, Ahitob su hijo;

53 Sadoc su hijo, Ahimaas su hijo.

54 Y estas son sus habitaciones, por sus palacios y en sus términos, de los hijos de Aarón por las familias de los coatitas, porque de ellos fue la suerte (en herencia ),

55 que les dieron a Hebrón en tierra de Judá, y sus ejidos alrededor de ella.

56 Mas la tierra alrededor de la ciudad y sus aldeas se dieron a Caleb, hijo de Jefone.

57 Y a los hijos de Aarón dieron las ciudades de Judá de acogimiento, es a saber , a Hebrón, y a Libna con sus ejidos;

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 6

This chapter begins with the fathers and heads of the tribe of Levi, 1Ch 6:1-3, and reckons up the high priests in the line of Eleazar, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 6:4-15 gives an account of the families of the sons of Levi, 1Ch 6:16-30 and of those Levites that were employed as singers, and in other ministrations in the sanctuary in the times of David and Solomon, 1Ch 6:31-49, then follows a repetition of the sons of Aaron in the line of Eleazar, to the said times, 1Ch 6:50-53, and a recital of the dwelling places of the Levites in the several tribes, 1Ch 6:54-81.
