2 Crónicas 29:30-36

30 Entonces el rey Ezequías y los príncipes dijeron a los levitas que alabaran al SEÑOR por las palabras de David y de Asaf vidente; y ellos alabaron con gran alegría, e inclinándose adoraron

31 Y respondiendo Ezequías dijo: Vosotros os habéis consagrado ahora al SEÑOR; llegaos pues, y presentad sacrificios y alabanzas en la Casa del SEÑOR. Y la multitud presentó sacrificios y alabanzas; y todo liberal de corazón, holocaustos

32 Y fue el número de los holocaustos que trajo la congregación, setenta bueyes, cien carneros, doscientos corderos; todo para el holocausto del SEÑOR

33 Y las ofrendas consagradas fueron seiscientos bueyes, y tres mil ovejas

34 Mas los sacerdotes eran pocos, y no podían bastar a desollar los holocaustos; y así sus hermanos los levitas les ayudaron hasta que acabaron la obra, y hasta que los otros sacerdotes se santificaron; porque los levitas tuvieron mayor rectitud de corazón para santificarse, que los sacerdotes

35 Así, pues, hubo gran multitud de holocaustos, con sebos de pacíficos, y libaciones de cada holocausto. Y así fue ordenado el servicio de la Casa del SEÑOR

36 Y se alegró Ezequías, y todo el pueblo, de que Dios hubiera preparado el pueblo; porque la cosa fue prestamente hecha

INTRODUCTION TO 2 CHRONICLES 29

This chapter begins with the good reign of Hezekiah, who upon his accession to the throne opened the doors of the temple, 2Ch 29:1-3, summoned the priests and Levites, and exhorted them to purge the temple, and restore the worship of it, 2Ch 29:4-11, who accordingly set about the work immediately, and cleansed the temple, and, when they had done, reported it to the king, 2Ch 29:12-19 upon which he, with the princes, went into the temple and offered sacrifices, 2Ch 29:20-24 and ordered singers to sing at the offering of burnt offerings, 2Ch 29:25-30 when he and his people offered burnt offerings and peace offerings in great abundance, 2Ch 29:31-36.
