31
Therefore
1be alert, remembering that
2for three years I did not cease night or day
3to admonish everyone
4with tears.
32
And now
5I commend you to God and to
6the word of his grace, which is able to
7build you up and to give you
8the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
33
9I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
34
10You yourselves know that
11these hands ministered to my necessities and
12to those who were with me.
35
In all things
13I have shown you that
14by working hard in this way we must
15help the weak and
16remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said,
'It is more blessed 17to give than to receive.'"
36
And when he had said these things,
18he knelt down and prayed with them all.
37
And
19there was much weeping on the part of all;
20they embraced Paul and
21kissed him,
38
being sorrowful most of all because of
22the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And
23they accompanied him to the ship.
