ThenPaulanswered, "What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For 1I amready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for 2the name of the LordJesus."

And since he would not be persuaded, we fellsilent, remarking, "3The will of the Lord be done!"

15Afterthesedays we gotready and 4started on our way up to Jerusalem.

Some of 5the disciples from 6Caesareaalsocame with us, taking us to Mnason of 7Cyprus, a 8disciple of longstanding with whom we were to lodge.

After we arrived in Jerusalem, 9the brethrenreceived us gladly.

And the following day Paulwent in with us to 10James, and all11the elders were present.

After he had greeted them, he 12began to relateone by one the things whichGod had doneamong the Gentilesthrough his 13ministry.

And when they heard it they began 14glorifyingGod; and they said to him, "You see, brother, howmanythousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all15zealous for the Law;

and they have been toldabout you, that you are 16teachingall the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsakeMoses, telling them 17not to circumcise their childrennor to walk according to 18the customs.

"What, then, is to be done? They will certainlyhear that you have come.

"Thereforedothis that we tell you. We have fourmen who 19are under* a vow;
