but the seventhday is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it 2you shall not doanywork, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your femaleservant* or your cattle or your sojournerwho stays with you.

"11You shall not covet your neighbor'shouse; 12you shall not covet your neighbor'swife or his maleservant or his femaleservant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

13All the peopleperceived the thunder and the lightningflashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountainsmoking; and when the peoplesaw it, they trembled and stood at a distance.

14Then they said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not Godspeak to us, or we will die."
