Ezekiel 25:8-11

Prophecy Against Moab and Seir

8 "Thus says the Lord GOD: Because 1Moab and 2Seir[a] said, 'Behold, the 3house of Judah is like all the other nations,'
9 therefore 4I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, 5Beth-jeshimoth, 6Baal-meon, and 7Kiriathaim.
10 I will give it 8along with the Ammonites 9to the people of the East as a possession, 10that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations,
11 11and I will execute judgments upon Moab. 12Then they will know that I am the LORD.

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 25

In this chapter the prophet foretells the judgments of God upon the Ammonites, Moabites, Edomites, and Philistines, for their ill usage of the Jews; on the Ammonites, Eze 25:1-7, on the Moabites, Eze 25:8-11, on the Edomites, Eze 25:12-14, on the Philistines, Eze 25:15-17.
