"For 1who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But 2I amamong* you as the one who serves.

"You are those who have stood by Me in My 3trials;

and just as My Fatherhasgranted Me a 4kingdom, I grant you

that you may 5eat and drink at My table in My 6kingdom, and 7you will sit on thronesjudging the twelvetribes of Israel.

"Simon, Simon, behold, 8Satanhasdemanded permission to 9sift you likewheat;

but I 10have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, whenonce you have turnedagain, 11strengthen your brothers."

12But he said to Him, "Lord, with You I amready to goboth to prison and to death!"

And He said, "I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crowtodayuntil you have deniedthreetimes that you know Me."

And He said to them, "13When I sent you out withoutmoneybelt and bag and sandals, you did not lackanything, did you?" They said, "No, nothing."

And He said to them, "But now, whoeverhas a moneybelt is to take it along, likewisealso a bag, and whoeverhasnosword is to sell his coat and buy one.

"For I tell you that this which is writtenmust be fulfilled in Me, '14AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS '; for 15that which refers to Me has its fulfillment."
