Isaías 62:7-12

7 Ni le deis tregua, hasta que confirme, y hasta que ponga á Jerusalem en alabanza en la tierra.

8 Juró Jehová por su mano derecha, y por el brazo de su fortaleza: Que jamás daré tu trigo por comida á tus enemigos, ni beberán los extraños el vino que tú trabajaste:

9 Mas los que lo allegaron lo comerán, y alabarán á Jehová; y los que lo cogieron, lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario.

10 Pasad, pasad por las puertas; barred el camino al pueblo; allanad, allanad la calzada, quitad las piedras, alzad pendón á los pueblos.

11 He aquí que Jehová hizo oir hasta lo último de la tierra: Decid á la hija de Sión: He aquí viene tu Salvador; he aquí su recompensa con él, y delante de él su obra.

12 Y llamarles han Pueblo Santo, Redimidos de Jehová; y á ti te llamarán Ciudad Buscada, no desamparada.

INTRODUCTION TO ISAIAH 62

This chapter is a continuation of the prophecy of the glory of the church in the latter day. The prophet expresses his earnest desire for it, and his full assurance of it, Isa 62:1,2 which should lie in a new name, by which she should be called, and in her being a glorious crown and diadem in the hand of the Lord, Isa 62:3,4, in having her sons with her, and the Lord rejoicing over her, Isa 62:5, in having watchmen on her walls, and such as are the Lord's remembrancers in the midst of her, Isa 62:6,7, in plenty of food, Isa 62:8,9, in the coming of the Saviour, and in the gathering of elect Gentiles both to him and her, Isa 62:10-12.
