Remember to extol his work,1 which men have praised in song.2
All mankind has seen it;3 men gaze on it from afar.
How great is God--beyond our understanding!4 The number of his years is past finding out.5
"He draws up the drops of water,6 which distill as rain to the streams;7
the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers8 fall on mankind.9
Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds, how he thunders10 from his pavilion?11
See how he scatters his lightning12 about him, bathing the depths of the sea.13
This is the way he governs the nations14 and provides food15 in abundance.16
He fills his hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.17
His thunder announces the coming storm;18 even the cattle make known its approach.19
