Números 15:30-40

30 "Pero aquél que obre con desafío, ya sea nativo o extranjero, ése blasfema contra el SEÑOR, y esa persona será cortada de entre su pueblo.

31 "Porque ha menospreciado la palabra del SEÑOR, y ha quebrantado su mandamiento, esa persona será enteramente cortada; su culpa caerá sobre ella."

32 Cuando los hijos de Israel estaban en el desierto, encontraron a un hombre que recogía leña en el día de reposo.

33 Los que lo encontraron recogiendo leña, lo llevaron a Moisés y a Aarón y a toda la congregación;

34 y lo pusieron bajo custodia, porque no se había aclarado qué debería hacerse con él.

35 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Ciertamente al hombre se le dará muerte; toda la congregación lo apedreará fuera del campamento.

36 Y toda la congregación lo sacó fuera del campamento y lo apedrearon, y murió, tal como el SEÑOR había ordenado a Moisés.

37 También habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo:

38 Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles que se hagan flecos en los bordes de sus vestidos, por sus generaciones, y que pongan en el fleco de cada borde un cordón azul.

39 Y os servirá el fleco, para que cuando lo veáis os acordéis de todos los mandamientos del SEÑOR, a fin de que los cumpláis y no sigáis vuestro corazón ni vuestros ojos, tras los cuales os habéis prostituido,

40 para que os acordéis de cumplir todos mis mandamientos y seáis santos a vuestro Dios.

INTRODUCTION TO NUMBERS 15

In this chapter the children of Israel are instructed about the meat offerings and drink offerings, and the quantities of them, which were always to go along with their burnt offerings and peace offerings they should offer when they came into the land of Canaan, Nu 15:1-12; and they are told that the same laws and ordinances would be binding equally on them that were of the country, and on the strangers in it, Nu 15:13-16; and an order is given them to offer a cake of the first dough for an heave offering, Nu 15:17-21; and they are directed what sacrifices to offer for sins of ignorance, both of the congregation and particular persons, Nu 14:22-29; but as for presumptuous sinners, they were to be cut off, Nu 14:30,31; and an instance is recorded of stoning a sabbath breaker, Nu 14:32-36; and the chapter is concluded with a law for wearing fringes on the borders of their garments, the use of which is expressed, Nu 14:35-41.
